Heidi Lee

Investor at Dreamcraft Ventures

Heidi started her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in New York and Perella Weinberg Partners in San Francisco. She has worked on M&A transactions with valuations of more than $5B. Some of her notable deals are with the number 1 skincare brand in the U.S., healthtech companies, fast growing startups and Fortune 500 companies.

After six years in the States, Heidi moved to Copenhagen where she started an impact investing company called Finuprise, which helps ordinary people invest with their values. Back when she started the company in 2020, she and her cofounder were frustrated by the lack of reliable ESG information for retail investors, and by the inequality distribution of wealth. 90% of stocks belong to 10% of the wealthiest, and majority men. So, they started the company to change that. Money talks, so let’s be loud!

From her time as a startup founder and operator, Heidi saw firsthand that many founders face the same challenges in the ecosystem. Whether it be fundraising, pivoting, or validating the elusive product-market fit. So, in order to work with the best founders and solve the biggest challenges, she decided to become an investor.

At Dreamcraft, Heidi is part of the Investment Team. Her areas of interest are Fintech & DeFi, the circular economy, and sustainability, but she is always on the lookout for talented founders with great passion and motivation for building successful companies.

Heidi graduated from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania with a double concentration in Finance and Operations Management. She holds a Masters degree from Copenhagen Business School from the Organisational Innovation and Entrepreneurship program. She is originally from New Zealand and now calls Denmark home.
